Wonderful Wednesday

I absolutely LOVE this dress! This is my last outfit from Gwynnie Bee trial. It's by Vintage Vixen. I felt great in this dress. My favorite by far of all the items I got. I felt sexy, flirty and confident. I got compliments, which is always nice. I spun around in my living room to show the flow of the pretty skirt and it made me feel awesome. My boyfriend loved it and asked me to spin again because he liked watching me! LOL   I would love to buy this dress but can't afford it. This brand of dresses range from $70 or more. The sizes are also off. I had to go up two sizes from my actual size. That was kinds sucky but I got over seeing the higher number because I loved the look of this dress so much! :) #sharemegb I was feeling great yesterday in this dress and then I walk into my apartment and see my shirtless boyfriend cooking dinner for us! YASSSS!!!!! That was a happy and sexy surprise! Chef Vinny Blades made this delicious Asian Glaze Chicken Thighs for us.  R

After illness outfits

I had a horrible stomach virus that lasted almost two weeks. I was not in the mood to post pictures of my outfits that I received from Gwynnie Bee. Before I got sick I wore this red dress. It was very fitted to my body and showed ALL imperfections. I wore a slimming dress slip underneath to help smooth me out! LOL It was cute but I was self conscious wearing it because I wore it in front of my boyfriend mother. The dress was v neck and I kept adjusting the fabric so I wasn't showing too much cleavage. I didn't completely love this dress, I wouldn't wear it again mostly because of how tight it was on my body. I didn't feel sexy. My boyfriend loved the dress though! LOL I ended up wearing one other dress that came in the box but then I got really sick. The second dress got compliments but I hated it. It was a light blue shift dress. It looked much better on the online model. I never wore a dress of that style because I was worried it wouldn't complement my body

Memorial Weekend

These are the other two items I got from GwyennieBee. I was really looking forward to the Democracy off the shoulder shirt. However, the sleeves only stayed put for maybe 30 seconds. I was constantly adjusting it for the first hour and pulling it down. It actually made me very frustrated that the shirt was not doing what was advertised. I only got this because I wanted off the shoulder. The shirt ended up being a peasant style top which does not look good on me. The shirt also had a small hole in it. I'm thinking from just multiple wears and washing. I gave this shirt a 1 star rating on site. I only wore it for about 3 hours and then took it off and put a different shirt on. The other piece was this blue and white dress. I forgot the brand.... sorry. I absolutely LOVED this dress. I could wear the ruffle sleeve two different ways. I opted for the off the shoulder since I didn't get that style from the previous shirt. I wore this dress on a very hot day. Although I was sweat

Stockyard Station

My mom came to visit this weekend for Memorial. In order to save money I found a festival that was FREE in a pretty cool area. The Red, White and Boots festival was being held by the Stockyard station in Fort Worth. It was our first time being there. I've lived in area four years and it was my first time going! It was awesome. Very old downtown area, very active in 1908 for livestock selling. They turned the old pens that held pigs, sheep and cattle into shops, restaurants and event space. There are still train tracks there that go down the middle. It was super humid and hot but we walked our sweaty asses up and down the whole thing. We also stopped into the Basement bar and listened to live music. I don't venture to Fort Worth often but that is the best area to me. I'm looking forward to going back again.

Free Clothes!

I am borderline poor! I don't have much of a budget to buy myself things. I haven't bought myself any new clothes since December 2016. The last thing I got was a simple black dress for New Year's Eve. I've been bored with my attire and want to buy more clothes but just don't have the budget to splurge on that right now. Bills come first. ...... unfortunately! :(  I stumbled across an online clothing site that lets you swap clothes out. They offered a one month FREE trial so I signed. I selected the 3 per shipment option and picked 8 items in my size to store in my "closet" and then placed two on my priority list, within about 4 days the clothes arrived. The three items came and the two I placed on my priority were in box. :)  The first thing I wore was a London Times dress. Two different patterns, past the knee, high collar, which made it great for work. It also has pockets... which I love, so it's easier to carry things without having to carry a purse
